The Spaces

In the shadow of Edinburgh Castle, just ten minutes’ walk from the Royal Mile, stands the conference center of the elegant Point Hotel Edinburgh.

Our 80-seat end-on space and intimate 54-seat thrust are served by a modern glass-fronted exterior and a comfortable foyer area with box office and tuck shop–all fully wheelchair accessible.  The spaces are ideal for theatre, cabaret, sketch comedy, movement and dance.

Gryphon 1

•80 seats

•Stage dimensions: 6.5m wide x 4m deep

•Floor-level stage, raised audience

•Backstage access to storage area

•Lighting: warm/cold front wash, color-changing LED backlight, focusable specials, extra dimmers available

•Sound: CD and MP3 player inputs, vocal mic

 

Gryphon 2

•54 seats

•Stage dimensions: 5m wide x 3.4m deep

•Floor-level stage and audience

•Backstage access to storage area

•Lighting: warm/cold front wash, focusable specials,
extra dimmers available

•Sound: CD and MP3 player inputs, vocal mic
